The Sentinel Command Station is one of the more linear stages in Doom: The Dark Ages. Instead of being in a wide-open stage, you’ll be surrounded by blocked-off areas and locked rooms. So, you’ll end up snaking through the stage at least twice in order to find all the collectibles strewn about.

The First Codex
After getting locked in a room, you’ll find yourself crawling through some vents. There will be a pile of gold on your right while in the verts (at the first forking path). Once you leave the vent, head straight, and take a right. You’ll get a bunch of gold and a codex.
If you miss this stuff, you’ll need to repeat the stage to get them as you’ll pass through a point of no return shortly after leaving the vents.
The Chainshot Nightmare Skin
Head to the end of the room and look to your left. There is a breakable gate here. Shatter it with your Shield Charge, then, follow the gold trail to the Nightmare skin for the Chainshot. You’ll fight a pair of Stone Imps and an Imp Stalker here as well. In the back of the room, behind the tank, there is another pile of gold. Don’t leave before grabbing it.
Hop down, kill the Mancibus, Revenants, Hell Knights, and Shield Soldiers. Once you’ve cleared out the area, travel around this area and heal as much as possible before you enter into the next room. Proceed through the hole in the wall. Once you get to the end of the hall, you’ll see a lever to pull.
This will release a Pinky Rider and a Cyberdemon. Fighting this pair in such a small space is a little dicey, so you are going to want to rely pretty heavily on parrying. Hopefully, you are at full health and still have all the healing items scattered around. That will give you a little buffer, at least. Head through the area where the Pinky Rider came from. Follow the gold trail to a summoning circle and a Sentinel Shrine. Pull the lever on the computer console to open the door back into the hallway.
The First Life Sigil And The Ravager
In the area where you pulled the lever to release the Pinky Demon, look at the wall behind the console with the lever – it is climbable. Scale that wall, then take a right in the vent. The trail of gold will lead you to your first Life Sigil. Now, raise your shield, and push through the fireballs. You’ll drop down into a room with a new gun – The Ravager.
Demonic Essence – Health And The First Treasure Chest
The next area is another massive battle filled with Revenants, Battle Knights, Manbuses, Pinky Riders, and Arachnotrons. Look for the Pinky Rider leader and kill them to immediately clear the horde. Once you do so, you will gain a Demonic Essence that will permanently increase your health.
Once the horde has been cleared, progress forward, and you’ll end up in a room filled with human soldiers. On the left is a button to open the gate, on your right is a treasure chest.
The Ruby
Head back to the first area you crashed down into. The left room will now be open. Enter it, and take the elevator up. You’ll need to leap across a gap using a shield jump. Now, follow the hallway until you reach a door. Don’t enter it; Instead, look for a hole nearby.
You’ll have just seen a Stone Imp crawl out of it. Once you kill the demons in the immediate area, jump down into that hole and grab the Ruby and the pile of gold. Kill the Nightmare Stalker Imp waiting for you down here, then Shield Charge the massive box so that you can climb back up the hole.
The Cultists And The Yellow Key
Now, you’ll find yourself in a winding hallway absolutely stuffed with empowered demons. Ignore them and sprint to the end where you’ll find a Pinky Rider Enforcer. Kill him to remove the empowerment effect and then kill the Whiplash demon to clear the area out.
Now, follow the hallway to the end (in all likelihood, you are already there), and enter the room with the Cultists. Kill them, grab the gold, and then take the Yellow Key from the corpse.
The Second Treasure Chest
In the same room where you got the Yellow Key, open the Yellow Key door. Jump across to the room on the other side of the hall, and you’ll find another treasure chest. Now, turn around, and Shield Charge through the breakable wall on the other side of the shaft. This will lead you into the ventilation system.
The Second Life Sigil
In the vent, take a left to get some gold. There is a Stone Imp and a Shield Soldier in this vent with you. Take them out, then, climb up at the end of the vent. Turn around once you’ve climbed up, and you’ll see a Life Sigil. Jump over to it and grab it.
The Secret Key
Once you Shield Charge out of the vent, you’ll be in a room stuffed with demons. This is a great chance to clear that “Wait For It Challenge” as there are explosive barrels everywhere and tons of weak fodder demons to kill them with. Eventually, you’ll be attacked by Stone Imps and Nightmare Imp Stalkers as well. Once you’ve killed all the demons, you’ll finally obtain the Secret Key.
The Wraithstone
Once you leave the room with the Secret Key, head across the hallway. Open the door that had previously been locked. There is a Wraithstone in here, but it is unreachable at first. You’ll have to kill the Agadonn Hunter that will appear in order to remove the force field and obtain it.
The Auto Turret Shield Rune
Jump down the shaft to gain the Auto Turret Shield Rune. Kill the massive horde of demons, ending with the Cyberdemon. There will be a Battle Knight present in this mashfest. So, this will be your last chance to hit them with your melee attacks and complete the Punching Bag challenge, so take advantage of that.
Kreed Maykr Toy
Once you’ve cleared the demons out, head to the room you enter from through the hole in the wall in the central area. The same room where you first released the Pinky Rider. You will now be able to open the door with the Kreed Maykr Toy inside. With that, just head to the door that requires the yellow key, and you’ll have completed this stage.
