Your First Sea rods won’t be very useful in the Second Sea thanks to a debuff. Instead of dropping them, learn how to improve them in Fisch.
Despite its colorful and toy-like appearance, this rod is a real workhorse, and getting your hands on it is the first step to conquering the event. Below, we’ve explained how to obtain this tool, its advantages, and other useful tips and facts.
How To Get The Brick Built Rod
To get the Brick Built Rod, you need to start the LEGO Event questline. Head over to Moosewood Island on the First Sea and look for Brickford Masterson, an NPC standing on a massive LEGO ship.
If you’re having trouble finding him, use the GPS and head towards the following coordinates: 410, 132, 366. Talk to Brickford Masterson to start his quest. After the dialogue with him, you will receive a Brick Built Rod and some Stud Bait for free. This rod comes with the following stats:

How To Use The Brick Built Rod
The Brick Built Rod is well-balanced for this event, and this is the only fishing rod you can use to catch LEGO-based fish. On top of that, you can only use this rod to fish in the specific LEGO pools, as it does not work in any other area.
Once you claim the Brick Built Rod, it’s highly recommended to enchant it if you want to perform at your best, especially when going after tougher catches like the Studolodon. Here are the best enchantment choices:
- Resilient or Mystical – These enchants boost your rod’s Resilience stat, helping you handle heavy and resistant fish much more easily.
- Hasty – A great secondary option, increasing your Lure Speed to reduce the waiting time between bites.
Enchanting your Brick Built Rod isn’t mandatory, but if you’re serious about completing the event Bestiary and catching every last LEGO-themed fish, upgrading it will save you a lot of time and effort.
