Here’s how to join and rank up The Woven Faction in Last Epoch.
The game’s final boss, Aberroth, is also tied to the Forgotten Knights Factions, so if you want to take on Last Epoch’s ultimate challenge, you’ll first need to prove yourself to the Forgotten Knights. Below, we’ll take a look at everything you need to know about this Faction, including how to join them and how to rank them up.
How To Join The Forgotten Knights
You will first meet the Forgotten Knights after defeating your first Harbinger in a level 90 Monolith. A Harbinger will appear once you complete the Spirits of Fire, The Last Ruin, and The Age of Winter Monoliths. These Monoliths become available after completing the preceding ones.
No matter which order you tackle these three Monoliths in, on the third one, the third Quest Echo will have its boss replaced by a Harbinger. Upon defeating the Harbinger, leaving the Echo will instead send you to the Shattered Road, where the Forgotten Knights reside. Speak to the Forgotten Knight here to join the Faction.
Unlike Item Factions, you can join every Endgame Faction at the same time.
Forgotten Knights Reputation
Gaining reputation with the Forgotten Knights works a little differently than other Factions in the game. Each time you kill a new Harbinger at the end of a Timeline, your rank with the Forgotten Knights will increase by one.
Since you need to defeat every Harbinger at least once in order to fight Aberroth, the Forgotten Knights essentially tracks your progress towards the game’s ultimate boss, granting powerful bonuses with each new Harbinger you defeat.
However, encountering new Harbingers isn’t as simple as finding them in the third Echo Quest of a Timeline. Instead, you will need to build up your Corruption by completing Empowered Monoliths.
Corruption builds as you complete Echoes in Empowered Monoliths, starting at 100. Corruption increases the health and damage of enemies, but also the experience and rarity of items you earn. This means each new Harbinger you fight will be progressively more difficult than the last as your Corruption level increases.
Once you’ve defeated the Harbinger in every Timeline, you’ll be able to fight Aberroth from the Shattered Road by spending a Harbinger Eye.
