How Weaver’s Will Works In Last Epoch

Share

Weaver’s Will is a unique modifier you can find on certain Last Epoch

Uniques. Items with this implicit can have a wide range of new modifiers added onto them. Equip the item, start landing kills, and you’ll evolve the weapon into something much stronger. This acts as a more active means of creating Legendary gear in Last Epoch, ideal for players who dislike crafting.

If you’ve seen this modifier on a few items and want a brief overview of how it works, we have you covered. This short guide explains what Weaver’s Will is, a rundown of how each Weaver’s Will proc works, and give some examples of how you can scale your Weaver’s Will drop chance.

What Is Weaver’s Will?

Last Epoch Weaver's Will Item

Weaver’s Will is an implicit modifier on items that adds random modifiers as you slay monsters. Upon inspecting an item with Weaver’s Will, you’ll notice a number next to the implicit modifier. This is your Weaver’s Will charges, or how many times you can trigger Weaver’s Will on that item before the modifier disappears.

When Weaver’s Will activates, one of two things will happen:

  1. A new modifier is added to the item.
  2. One of the pre-existing modifiers is upgraded by one tier.

If you get Weaver’s Will on a Unique with minimal affixes, you can expect most of your procs to add new modifiers. Unlike traditional items, Weaver’s Will can make items Legendary rarity if enough modifiers are added. As with most things in Last Epoch, however, this is entirely down to RNG.

Up to four affixes—two prefixes, two suffixes—may be added onto an item with Weaver’s Will.

Weaver’s Will items cannot be modified through crafting, excluding the use of Runes of Weaving. This will use all Weaver’s Will stacks immediately to upgrade the item, effectively skipping the XP requirement.

What’s more likely to occur is that one of your affixes will be upgraded by one timer. The modifier is picked randomly, and it is possible to get exalted stat tiers (T6+) on items through Weaver’s Will procs. It’s exceedingly rare, but it can happen.

How To Get Weaver’s Will

Last Epoch Character In Hub Area

Weaver’s Will is tied to specific Unique items and can drop from any source, although you can bias Weaver’s Will drops by farming Monoliths with Unique drop modifiers. Since all Weaver’s Will items drop as Uniques, you’ll have a higher chance of finding one in a Unique-modified zone. This includes other forms of Unique drop chance, such as the

Grand Wins of Fortune blessing
.

Season 2 also added The Woven, a new faction you can join to increase the likelihood of finding Weaver’s Will Uniques through upgrade nodes in the Weaver Tree. Progress through the Monolith of Fate endgame activity, level your factions, and you’ll be swimming in Weaver’s Will items in no time.
