Now that it has Pokemon sets coming our way in 2026, Lego has just about every major entertainment IP residing under its impressive toy brick umbrella. However, it hasn’t really worked much with The Simpsons before. That’s all about to change as Lego’s first Simpsons set for over a decade has just been revealed, and it’s coming very soon.
There have been rumblings that Lego might be rekindling what was a short-lived relationship with The Simpsons in 2014, and now it has confirmed as much. Looks like that second 2025 Lord of the Rings Lego set might be real.
Expensive, but that’s because this is going to be a pretty sizable set. 1,635 pieces will make up what will be the first-ever Krusty Burger Lego set. Smaller than the Simpsons House and Kwik-E-Mart sets that came before it – and have long-since been retired – but Lego has come a long way during that ten-year gap.
The Simpsons Have Been Turned Into Lego Again For The First Time In Years
No Companion Episode This Time, At Least Not Yet
As is the case with other Lego sets based on locations from iconic shows and movies, while this set looks like an incredible toy brick replica at first glance, it’s the attention to detail and the easter eggs inside that make it really special. The Lego Krusty Burger can be opened up once complete, and it’s as accurate inside as it is outside.
There’s a kitchen, complete with a little Lego burger, a dining area, and even a ballpit for the kids, of which there are two among the set’s seven minifigures. Although one of them, Bart, is pictured in the Lego ballpit, the minifigures included with the set are probably a little old to be its target demographic.
Joining Bart in the Krusty Burger set’s minifigure lineup is Lisa, Homer, Krusty (of course), Sideshow Bob, Officer Lou, and Jeremy, better known to most casual Simpsons fans as the show’s squeaky-voiced teen. As for why Lego and The Simpsons are teaming up again now, it’s unclear, but this could hopefully be the start of a new partnership between them that lasts longer than two sets this time.
It may well be something that has been in the pipeline since Disney bought Fox and acquired the rights to The Simpsons. Lego has been making Disney sets since 2010 – and since the turn of the century if you include Duplo – with even its recently restocked Disney Castle getting the toy brick treatment. With pretty much all of Disney’s IP getting multiple Lego sets, it makes a lot og sense that The Simpsons would eventually get in on the fun.

The Simpsons: Krusty Burger
Lego has rekindled its relationship with The Simpsons after it had been lying dormant for a decade. Kicking off what will hopefully be a long partnership between the two is a Krusty Burger Lego set. Made up of 1,635 pieces, both the inside and the outside of the set are incredibly detailed, and it comes with seven minifigure versions of iconic Simpsons characters.
