There’s been a lot of buzz about Elden Ring recently. Last week FromSoftware announced that the game had sold 30 million copies. More recently. It seems there’s an Elden Ring movie in the works with Alex Garland confirmed as the director. However, a while before all that, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition was announced for the Nintendo Switch 2.

FromSoftware’s success is deserved and should be focused on, but I just can’t wait to see what’s next.
It was confirmed that The Tarnished Edition would include the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, along with some new items, as well as some cosmetics for torrent. These new additions will also be available on other platforms as DLC. It now seems like this edition will be bringing more content with it — two new player classes.
Another Reason To Replay Elden Ring
It seems Elden Ring will also be getting two new classes when the Tarnished Edition launches. As reported by Famitsu, these new classes are Knight of Ides and Heavy Knight – according to the translated version. They will also come to other platforms via the Tarnished Pack. Unfortunately no details about their stats or starting weapons have been mentioned yet.
Initially, it was thought that Elden Ring players on other consoles may have to pay for these new additions. Given that their descriptions add to the overall lore of the game, fans were a bit upset at the prospect of a paid DLC. However, it now seems like the new classes, items, and cosmetics will be available to other platforms for free.
